The teams for the first-ever Wild West Bowl – to be played in Dodge City this Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium, have been set. Competing for the Six-Man State Championship (4p) will be the Weskan Coyotes and the Pawnee Heights Tigers. The Consolation game will be played between the Cheylin Cougars and Golden Plains Bulldogs (2p).

Between Games – Recognition of KPREPS – 6A All-State Team
4:00 p.m. – Weskan vs Pawnee Heights
Weskan enters the Championship Game at (7-0), defeating Pawnee Heights by a score of (36-25) in late September. Pawnee Heights enters the Championship Game at (6-2), defeating Golden Plains (42-38) last Thursday in the semifinals. Golden Plains is (5-2) with their only losses coming to the two teams in the Championship Game. Cheylin enters the Consolation Game with a record of (3-5), losing twice previously to Golden Plains.
Both games will be streamed live at www.dodgecityevents.com. Also, the games will be aired (tape delayed) by Smoky Hills Public Television. Between games – the 6 Man All-State Football team will also be recognized.
